People willing to know more about the world of finance and to take the right financial decisions are expected on 29 October 2021 at the third edition of the financial education event "Money Road". It will take place online on the occasion of the International Savings Day and will be hosted by the National Bank of Moldova and the Independent Analytical Center "Expert-Grup", within the joint project "Give sense to money".
„The age of digitalization and globalization brings to our homes and thoughts the need for modernity, perspective, change and innovation. It is what defines the constant evolution of financial products, of the financial sector in general and calls for a more robust engagement in our attitude and decision-making on the path to financial inclusion”, says the governor of the National Bank, Octavian Armașu.
Thus, the participants in the event will have the opportunity to discuss this topic with the organizers, to reflect and benefit from answers to burning questions. They will find out where the money comes from and how it gets into circulation, what its safety signs are and how to identify them. They will also talk about concepts such as savings, financial instruments and find out what they need to know to make an investment or take out a loan.
Those wishing to register for these activities, starting with the age of 16, can submit applications for participation, completing a form [1] until 28 October 2021, 6:00 p.m.
"Give sense to money" is a financial education project launched in March 2019 by the National Bank of Moldova and the Independent Analytical Center "Expert-Grup". The project aims to increase the level of understanding of the main concepts and financial products among young people, to support them in the proper management of their income and substantiation of sound financial decision-making.
