Commemorative coin from the “Others” series, in circulation since 29 November 2023.


Coin characteristics:

  • Face value: 100 lei;
  • Quality proof;
  • Type of metal: gold;
  • Fineness: 999.9/1000;
  • Weight: 7.8 grams;
  • Diameter: 24 mm;
  • Shape: round;
  • Edge: milled, with serial number engraved;
  • Mintage 2023: 300 units.

 

Obverse:

  • Coat of Arms of the Republic of Moldova, year of issue "2023", inscription "REPUBLICA MOLDOVA" in a circular arc, “Au 999,9”, face value “100 LEI” and „7,8 g” in exergue.

Reverse:

  • NBM logo, ornamental girdle - element of the country brand "Tree of Life", inscription in capital letters "ANIVERSAREA LEULUI MOLDOVENESC" and  stylised inscription note "29 noiembrie 1993" arranged vertically in exergue.
