The coin with face value of 1 ban

The main features of the coin:

The coin has a round form with a circular border that stands out on the edge of both the observe and the reverse. The edge is plain.

Turning the coins against the horizontal axis at an angle of 180 degrees sets the image on the observe and the reverse of the coin.

Description:

Obverse:

  • The Coat af Arms of the Republic of Moldova is placed in the central part;
  • The image of an oak branch is placed in the bottom part;
  • The inscription "REPUBLICA MOLDOVA" is engraved in the upper part of the observe following the coin circumference.

Reverse:

  • The nominal value of  "1 BAN" is placed in the central part;
  • The year of issuance;
  • The letter "M" (Moldova), superposed on a square is placed in the bottom part.
