The National Bank of Moldova, in partnership with the Independent Analytical Think-Tank “Expert-Grup,” is launching the dissemination of a set of informative materials on various financial topics, aimed at consumers of all ages. These materials will be distributed as part of the National Financial Education Campaign, realized with the support of USAID (MISRA), to help individuals navigate the financial environment, understand its developments, and recognize the benefits it offers.
The financial education materials provide clear explanations and recommendations on the best products for saving or borrowing - helping to avoid the risk of over-indebtedness, as well as information on investment opportunities. The public will also learn how to choose advantageous insurance products, make safe cashless payments, and understand how knowledge of inflation and the central bank’s monetary policy instruments can aid in financial decision-making.
Over the next few weeks, on Tuesdays and Fridays, these informative materials will be published consecutively on the communication platforms of the National Bank and “Expert-Grup.”
Today, we are announcing the publication of the first material, titled “Combating counterfeiting: the exchange rate is formed and modified by the NBM” [1].
The National Financial Education Campaign aims to provide citizens with useful information to facilitate orientation in the financial environment and ensure decisions that promote the well-being of individuals and society.
