Nearly 500 people crossed the threshold of the National Bank of Moldova on the evening of 18 May to discover the art and monetary history of the Republic of Moldova.
Visitors had the opportunity to see the commemorative coins and banknotes, as well as thematic art projects and documentaries exploring cultural and aesthetic influences in monetary design. A source of attraction was the gold ingot on display, which fascinated audiences of all ages. The event was complemented by interactive presentations designed to enrich the audience's knowledge of monetary art complexity.
This is the first time that the NBM has joined the European Night of Museums initiative, which this year reached its 20th edition. Two decades have also passed since the establishment of the NBM's exhibition hall.
The National Bank gives the assurance that it will continue to be an active partner in promoting financial culture and education in the community.
