A financial education podcast is launched today by the National Bank of Moldova and the Economic Press Club. The audio program will be conducted by the journalist Vitalie Condrațchi during the year 2020, being distributed one episode per month. The first episode entitled "Where the money comes from" talks about the emergence of banks and deals with topics such as lending, saving for the future, the payment system, etc.
The podcast is part of the project "Learn! Give sense to money” carried out by the National Bank of Moldova together with other institutions. "A social commitment of the National Bank is to increase the level of financial education of the citizens and this initiative will allow us to reach a wider and trained audience, so that their decisions will bring them the expected benefits. At the same time, we want to offer the public the convenient opportunity to document themselves in an attractive format while doing other things: going to transport, doing sports or other activities”, says the Governor of the NBM, Octavian Armașu.
