The mint set is issued in the form of a booklet, fixed into a cardboard box, which consists of two metal coins in use with the face value of MDL 1, 2, 5 and 10 . The set is sealed in transparent blister packs made of plastic.
The metal coins included in the set are accepted as means of payment in the Republic of Moldova, at their face value.
The mint set may be purchased through the licensed banks of the Republic of Moldova, which set the selling price independently. Nonetheless, this may not be higher than three percent than the price set by the NBM.
The mint sets were issued in a number of 5 thousand.
