Sustainable Banking and Finance Network (SBFN)

On 8 November 2023, the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) joined the Sustainable Banking and Finance Network (SBFN).

SBFN represents a voluntary community of financial sector regulators, central banks, ministries of finance, ministries of environment and industry associations from emerging markets committed to promoting sustainable finance. The NBM's accession to the SBFN will allow the country's financial system to be aligned with national and global priorities in this area.

As an official member of the SBFN, the NBM will access capacity building to support the design and implementation of national sustainable finance initiatives and will gain access to the SBFN database - studies, analyses, reports on progress of member countries in policy implementation. The NBM will participate in meetings and the exchange of knowledge or experiences among network members, and also in thematic working groups.
