The processing of a payment document costs maximum MDL 3.5, while for urgency – MDL 20.00. These are the maximum amounts of commissions/tariffs for payment orders received in electronic form, in Moldovan currency, through automated remote service systems: internet payments, pc-payments, mobile payments.
If the commissions are not applied within the limits of legal tariffs, individuals or legal entities – besides the actions for claiming their legal rights – are urged to submit a petition to the National Bank of Moldova (NBM), according to the procedure established by the Administrative Code.
The maximum values of aforementioned commissions or tariffs were established in June by decision of the Executive Board of the NBM, and are in force as of 1 September 2019.
The NBM continues its activities of encouraging the use of cashless payments and payment operations through electronic means.
