Reference interbank market interest rates (CHIBOR, CHIBID)

 

CHIBOR and CHIBID reference rates shall be determined by the fixing agent (Bloomberg Finance L.P) every working day at 11:00 a.m. local time, by applying the rules laid down in the Regulation on CHIBOR and CHIBID reference rates [1].

CHIBOR (Chisinau Interbank Offered Rate) - the reference rate calculated based on quotations of contributor banks to place funds in MDL with other banks.

CHIBID (Chisinau Interbank Bid Rate) - the reference rate calculated based on quotations of contributor banks to attract funds in MDL from other banks.

National Bank shall determine, review (at least once a year) and publish on its official website the list of contributor banks [2].
