Statistical bulletin No 2, 2023 (see Chapter I) [2]
According to preliminary data, in Quarter I, 2023, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit of US$ 545,41 million, a 4,4% decrease as compared to the similar period of the previous year. The current account to GDP ratio amounted to -16,1%.
The capital account recorded a positive balance amounting to US$ 16,74 million, and the financial account recorded a net inflow of US$ 456,04 million.
