Starting from 26 December 2025, the NBM is launching into numismatic circulation two commemorative coins: “Petre Teodorovici - 75 years since birth” and “80 years since the establishment of the “Nicolae Testemițanu” State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova”.

Starting from 19 December 2025, the National Bank of Moldova is launching a new series of jubilee and commemorative coins titled "European Moldova," introducing the first coin in this series, "Moldova in the Single Euro Payments Area," into circulation.

Starting on 1 December 2025, the National Bank of Moldova will launch into circulation the commemorative coin "Queen Marie of Romania – 150 years since birth," which completes the "Personalities" series.

The National Bank of Moldova (BNM) will organise, on 28 November, a new edition of the financial education event "The Road of Money," dedicated to Moldovan Leu Day.

Starting from 2 May 2025, the National Bank of Moldova launches the commemorative coin “Vasile Lupu”, which completes the series “Rulers of the Principality of Moldavia”.

The key financial education event offers a unique experience to the forefront: visitors will have the chance to discover a historic collector's item - a coin minting press, brought to Chisinau by the Romanian State Mint, especially to be exhibited at the NBM Museum.
