Prim-viceguvernatorul Băncii Naționale a Moldovei, Vladimir Munteanu, a participat la o solemnitate organizată de Academia de Studii Economice din Moldova cu prilejul înmânării premiuilor și diplomelor pentru cercetarea științifică în domeniul monedei și creditului pentru anul 2020.

În anul 2019, soldul contului curent al balanţei de plăţi a Republicii Moldova a înregistrat un deficit de 1 119,07 mil. USD, contul de capital a înregistrat un sold negativ de 49,88 mil. USD, iar contul financiar s-a soldat cu intrări nete de capital în valoare de 1 141,02 mil. USD. Poziţia investiţională internaţională a constituit - 4 985,71 mil. USD, iar datoria externă brută a totalizat 7 416,08 mil. USD.

In 2019, the current account of the balance of payments of the Republic of Moldova recorded a deficit amounting to US$ 1 119,07 million. The capital account registered a deficit of US$ 49,88 million and the financial account recorded a net capital inflow amounting to US$ 1 141,02 million. The international investment position recorded - US$ 4 985,71 million, while the gross external debt amounted to US$ 7 416,08 million.

Starting with November 27, 2020, the National Bank of Moldova puts into circulation eight jubilee and commemorative coins as means of payment and for numismatic purposes.
