По предварительным данным, валовой внешний долг Республики Молдова по состоянию на 30.09.2020 увеличился на 7,2 % по сравнению с концом 2019 года и достиг 7 950,28 млн. долл. США, что составляет 67,3 % по отношению к ВВП (+5,3 п.п. в сравнении с 31.12.2019).

În luna noiembrie 2020, prin intermediul băncilor licențiate au fost transferate din străinătate în favoarea persoanelor fizice mijloace bănești în valoare netă de 131,88 mil. USD (în creștere cu 30,0 la sută comparativ cu noiembrie 2019).

In November 2020, the total amount of net money transfers from abroad made in favour of individuals via licensed banks of the Republic of Moldova amounted to US$ 131.88 million (increasing by 30.0% as against November 2019).

In 2019, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit amounting to US$ 1 119,07 million, the capital account registered a deficit of US$ 49,88 million, and the financial account recorded a net capital inflow of US$ 1 141,02 million. The international investment position amounted to US$ -4 985,71 million at the end of 2019, while the gross external debt reached US$ 7 416,08 million.

În anul 2019, soldul contului curent al balanţei de plăţi a Republicii Moldova a înregistrat un deficit de           1 119,07 mil. USD, contul de capital a înregistrat un sold negativ de 49,88 mil. USD, iar contul financiar s-a soldat cu intrări nete de capital în valoare de 1 141,02 mil. USD. Poziţia investiţională internaţională a constituit -4 985,71 mil. USD, iar datoria externă brută a totalizat 7 416,08 mil. USD.
