International accounts of the Republic of Moldova in 2018 (preliminary data)

According to preliminary data, in 2018, the current account of the balance of payments of Moldova recorded a deficit amounting to US$ 1 186,71 million, the capital account registered a deficit of US$ 39,38 million, and the financial account recorded a net capital inflow of US$ 1 132,16 million. The international investment position amounted to US$ - 4 166,92 million at the end of 2018, while the gross external debt reached US$ 7 302,02 million.

Conform datelor preliminare, în anul 2018, soldul contului curent al balanţei de plăţi a Republicii Moldova a înregistrat un deficit de 1 186,71 mil. In QIII 2018, the current account of the balance of payments recorded a deficit of US$ 338,09 million, the capital account registered a deficit of US$ 12,05 million, and the financial account recorded a net capital inflow of US$ 281,43 million. The international investment position amounted to US$ -3 833,27 million at the end of Q III 2018, while the gross external debt reached US$ 7 199,10 million.

The international investment position amounted to US$ -3,249.85 million at the end of 2017, while the gross external debt reached US$ 6,964.29 million.

США, счет операций с капиталом зафиксировал дефицит в сумме 10.84 млн. долл. США, а финансовый счет - чистый приток капитала, равный 252.39 млн. долларов США. Международная инвестиционная позиция составила -3,670.21 млн. долларов США, в то время как валовой внешний долг достиг 7,079.14 млн. долл. США.
