According to preliminary data, the gross external debt of the Republic of Moldova decreased insignificantly by 0,3% as compared to the end of 2021 and totaled US$ 8 986,79 million as of 03/31/2022, which is 64,0% as a ratio to GDP (-1,9 p.p. as against 12/31/2021).
