NBM Governor Anca Dragu at the EBRD Annual Meeting in London

Anca Dragu, Governor of the National Bank of Moldova, attended the Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The EBRD Annual Meeting provided a platform for strategic dialogue between Governors, representatives of international financial institutions, and the business community. During the meeting, the EBRD's Annual Report for 2024, its Financial Report for 2024, and the report on the implementation of the EBRD's Strategic Plan for 2025-2027 were presented.

On the margins of the event, NBM Governor Anca Dragu had a series of bilateral meetings with Catarina BJORLIN HANSEN, EBRD Regional Head for Eastern Europe and South Caucasus, with Thomas ALVETAG, Deputy Head of Cooperation and Inclusive Economic Development at the Embassy of Sweden, as well as with other representatives of the international financial-banking sector. The discussions focused on strengthening financial cooperation and supporting development projects in the Republic of Moldova, with an emphasis on the resilience of the banking sector.
